Who It's For

Government relations professionals, public affairs teams, and lobbyists operating in the Australian federal and state political landscape.

What It Delivers

The Australian Parliamentary Monitor connects government relations teams to the full breadth of Federal Parliament data — Hansard transcripts from both chambers, committee proceedings and reports, bills and amendments across their full legislative lifecycle, and division records for voting analysis.

Topic monitoring identifies relevant parliamentary activity across both the House of Representatives and the Senate as it is published. Hansard briefings compile all relevant debate, question time exchanges, and committee testimony on a specified topic into a single document. Committee watch reports track proceedings and upcoming agendas. Legislative pipeline tracking follows bills from introduction through to passage or lapse.

How It Works

The MCP server connects to Australian Federal Parliament’s public data infrastructure, including Hansard transcript APIs, the bills and legislation database, committee publications, and division and voting records. The tool layer exposes this data for direct querying: Hansard search by topic, member, or date range; bill status and amendment tracking; committee report retrieval; division record analysis.

The workflow orchestration layer — which transforms individual tool queries into multi-step intelligence briefings — is under active development. Priority clients are being onboarded to the current tool-layer capability now, with workflow automation added as the development cycle completes. State-level monitoring, beginning with the Victorian Parliament, is planned as a follow-on module.

Who It’s For

Government relations professionals and lobbyists managing a federal policy portfolio in Australia. Public affairs teams at organisations with exposure to federal legislative outcomes — resources and energy, financial services, healthcare, agriculture, defence, and technology. State-level capability (Victorian Parliament) is available for discussion with priority clients.
